However, during the busy seasons, the 300 parking space lots fills up by 8:15 a.m. and cars are not allowed into the park until some people leave. The parking lot is also often filled up in the middle of the day and cars are turned away.

This way no more than 440 people can enter Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve every hour. The good side of this that the beach is never crowded. People are leaving as people are entering. It is not like before when 10,000 people a day visited Hanauma Bay. Currently 2,500-3,000 people visit Hanauma Bay daily.
