Relaxation is the key at Bali's only water park, but there are plenty of activities to choose from - a leisurely voyage down the Lazy River, a scenic slide through tropical vegetation on the Jungle Ride or the sheer excitement of the Race Track, where speeds can reach up to 50 kilometers per hour. Plus, there's table tennis, sand and water volleyball, badminton and boules for the sports-minded and a roving photographer to capture those exclusive holiday memories.

Bali Barat National Park
West Bali
Bali's largest nature reserve encompasses 70,000 hectares of rainforest and 7000 hectares of coral reefs and is home to many rare species of fauna.

Besakih
Karangasem Regency
Bali's 'Mother Temple' is a sprawling complex of shrines and pavilions set high on the slopes of sacred Mount Agung.

Goa Gajah
Klungkung Regency
The ancient hermitage of Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) near Bedulu is one of Bali's most intriguing archaeological sites, comprising a man-made grotto, elaborate stone carving and Buddhist stupas.

Sangeh Monkey Forest
Badung Regency
Populated by a larger troupe of monkeys, this thick stand of nutmeg trees is believed in legend to have fallen out of the sky during a mythic battle between the gods, carrying with it a battalion of Wisnu's monkey army.

Tanah Lot
Tabanan Regency
Tanah Lot (Earth from the Sea) is a stunning 15th-century sanctuary located on Bali's south coast, built atop a rocky mound that at high tide is completely surrounded by water.

Tirta Empul

Gianyar Regency
Located in Tampaksiring, the rejuvenating springs of Tirta Empul have been a holy bathing place since the 10th century.

Goa Lawah or Bat Cave
Klungkung Regency
Famous for the thousands of fruit bats that live here. This can be an interesting, if pungent, experience.

Goa Karang Sari
Nusa Penida Island
South-east of Bali
This cave extends over 200 meters into the hillside and during the Galungan festival hosts a torchlight procession and various ceremonies.

Puri Semara Pura
Klungkung Regency
A palace dedicated to the god of love and was home to the kings of Klungkung. Although only two pavilions and the entrance gate remain, the hall of justice, Bale Kerta Gosa, is worth seeing for its beautifully painted ceiling and carved pillars.

Taman Ujung Water Palace
East Bali
Set in a beautifully landscaped park, the ruins of this palace are a tribute to the slightly eccentric designs of King Anak Agung Ngurah.

Puri Agung Kanginan
Tabanan Regency
Built from a hotch-potch of different styles, including Chinese, European and Javanese, this place is fascinating architecturally - a monument to the Balinese ability to blend outside influences into their own culture.

Tirtha Gangga Royal Bathing Pools
Near Amlapura
Karangasem Regency
Great views of both Mount Agung and the Lombok Strait. This palace was damaged during the 1963 eruption of Mount Agung, but the pools still function and can be taken advantage of for a small fee.

Botanical Gardens
Kebun Raya Eka Karya
Bedugul
Established in 1959, these gardens cover over 120 hectares on Gunung Pohon (Tree Mountain). The gardens contain a huge collection of trees, nearly 500 varieties of orchid and are rich in bird life.

Blahmantung Waterfall
Near Pupuan
West Bali
Dropping over 100 meters, this waterfall is spectacular, especially during the rainy season (November to March). Be prepared for a tough trek up a steep, and at times rough, track to get there.

Gitgit Waterfall
Ten kilometers south of Singaraja
Not far from the main road, Gitgit is an impressive 40 meter high. A swim here can be very refreshing, although local legend believes that couples bathing here together will eventually separate.

Sanur
The village and beach market, and the prime, white sand Sanur beach.
